LIFEDEATH returns with NEW ART!
OR we haven't posted in a while so here's some NEW LIFEDEATH ART!
A new year is upon us, and change is in the air. It’s hard to say what it all means just yet, but one thing is for certain, there are now more ways to reach audiences than ever before, with comics finding new readers and awareness through platforms like the very one you are reading this on now. We started this newsletter in the latter part of last year to share some of the exciting things we were developing together in comics and beyond, with the hope that following along on our journey could help inform the next steps of your own.
In that spirit, as we get this train back onto the tracks, we thought now would be a great time to share more of the incredible art John has been producing for LIFEDEATH, which is truly the work of his career as a penciller. Next week we will be introducing a whole new project we are developing with some up and coming names in the world of film and television, who are working alongside John, his writing partner and longtime friend Dan Gordon, and myself to introduce their first foray into comics.
In the meantime, let’s return to Mars. The fasten seatbelt sign is now illuminated…
Well, as Jeremy said, we really do have some exciting announcements coming in the weeks ahead and we couldn’t be more excited about it all. The last few weeks really got away from us for a whole bunch of reasons. But, we’re back and we thought let’s share some new LIFEDEATH pages for everyone.
So, let’s jump right in! Ok, maybe a slightly bad choice of words given Dr. Ross’s apparent predicament in the double page spread below!
So, I’m not going to say too much about these pages as they are from issue two of the new series. But, I have to say, writing and drawing LIFEDEATH is some of the most fun I’ve ever had making comics!
So, in very short time, we are going to have the complete first two issues lettered and collected. We are going to figure a way to make the first two issues available to those of you who would like to read the series.
Thanks so much for following and for checking us out.
Stay tuned. Some exciting news is looming!
